100% tested and working mgauges will go here. This will eventually fill with existing and never seen before gauges. As I get time to monitor the CAN BUS I will add more.
If there is a specific gauge you are looking for and if the vehicle supports it then start a new topic and make a request. Some things do not exist, like EOT for instance. If you monitor this you will only get what it provides and that is only on off ( oil pressure, no oil pressure ). *PX3 should support this now.
I spend an immense amount of time finding these and providing working solutions. Think twice about posting them all over the web and bring people to the site with a link instead. Studied the EGR temp today, sat around 160 and maxed out at 215

Installed the AdBlue level PID on my Ultraguage in the Everest some time back but it read 8.09% in the beginning with the tank 3/4 full. It starts to count down and got in the 7% range for a while but eventually returns to the 8.09% when the Ultraguage reboots.

Am I right in assuming that once you modify a gauge you loose the original and only ever have 10 gauges that can be modified or is that a way to save a gauge beyond the 10 programmable ones...if that makes sense

Guys, long time lurker but first post so go easy, hopefully this is the appropriate place to ask this...Couple of qs about mgauges please:
1) I'm looking to monitor EGT as close to the turbo as possible - seems like we can't use the sensor in the exhaust manifold. I've been using EGT13 from the above but not sure if that's right? The figures seem fairly realistic.
2) Is the 'Intercooler' temp the one I want to monitor IAT after the cooler? The IAT preprogrammed into the ultragauge seems to be pretty much bang on ambient which I assume is pre turbo since I doubt the factory cooler is that efficient...
Thanks in advance and if I'm in the wrong place, please say so!

I tried to setup the Adblue on a 2019 Ford Everest today using the PID information above, and get the same as Handymanjohn which is a constant reading of 8.09%. Is this correct? The note you have for EGR Temperature Sensor is I think, incorrect. I believe this PID is the Intake Manifold Temp or Intake Temp 2 (EGR gas temp after it's travelled through the EGR circuit). This temperature does max out at 215c and is the signal to force EGR to close the EGR Cooler Bypass and use the cooler path. Presumably recirculating warm EGR gas helps engine warmup speed and therefore 'cold engine' emissions. Once the cooler path is enabled it looks like it stays on until the ECT is <70c again.
Oh, if you change the equation to "A", then I expect the temp will max out at 255c (8 bits), but 215c seems to be the trigger point for closing the EGR Cooler bypass.

Hi Mate, no it's spot on. Early firmware had one PID for sensor and later firmware 2 PIDs. One is 1 byte and one is 2 byte. 255 - 40 = 215 so one byte.
But yes both are classed as egtr PIDs. You can confirm this by unplugging the sensor and reading again.
Let me know an outcome as I may need to unplug it again and re check.
EGR Temp and EGRT pre should be the same manifold sensor though.

So I’ve tried loading the transmission temp under ultraguage however the PID Calculator shows the MCTH value is: 621E1C, however when I try and load this value I need to enter two values at the end. So should i enter 621E1C0 or use something other than zero after the C?

Just wanted to bring something up about the EGRT for Ultragauge.
For some unknown reason when I have this gauge active on the Ultraguage, at idle, my 2019 PX3 Ranger XLT's idle goes from about 700 up to 900 and then back down to 700, constantly back and forth at around 1-second intervals. I initially thought it was the Ultraguage doing it as it started after the first drive with it installed. I spent the afternoon on the phone to the tech help fella from Precise Auto where I bought the Ultraguage. I ended up moving the EGRT to the 2nd page of gauges and when monitoring page 1 everything is fine, as soon as I go over to page 2 with the EGRT on it the revs start to surge again. Super weird!!!
Should the EGRT values (temperatures) be influenced by a DPF burn? I thought since the EGRT was pre turbo at the exhaust manifold it wouldnt get any extra heat from the DPF. When a DPF burn happens my EGRT temps go up to around 700*C when engine is underload driving, The highest it go up to was 748*C.
Also, the DPF soot blockage gauge, shown as a percentage im assuming from what is written in the units for it. only goes from 2 up to 12 and then goes into a burn? Are those figures normal and is "2" meaning 20% and "12" meaning 120% so it was overdue for a burn?

There is no reason for the surging. Try starting Ultragauge in safe mode always and see what happens.

I have been monitoring the Soot/burn for over 2 years now.
Driving around the stop/start suburbs has the percentage climbing faster than country driving, as you would expect.
My Soot % climbs to around 96% and then the DPF temp starts to rise rapidly and usually peaks around 700deg @ 100%
The temp then slowly begins to drop as does the Soot percentage.
By the time the Soot has dropped to approximately 20% the DPF is also back to normal running temps.
The % may continue to drop, but not a lot.

Unplug and plug back in, press bottom button from memory. Says it on the boot screen.
I use this feature on all of them after the initial connection as it means I can run multiple UG at the same time with issues.

It is looking like it is some Mgauges not playing nicely with the Safari Armax ECU i have. Safari is looking into this and we are talking frequently regarding it as they would like to get it sorted as they state the ultraguage as being compatible with their ECU so it is in their interest as well to have a look at why some Mguages would interfere with the piggy back ECU.

There never will be, cannot make the PCM do something it is not programmed to do.
Whether is actually litres or % is another things as my documents do not show it, otherwise the sums are 100% correct.
You will not see a change until it falls below this level.
