Can any one help with location of the gps antenna on sync 3 rangers. Regards

Ranger antenna is behind the instrument cluster.

The breaker has removed dials and cant see it, the only other breaker will only sell complete kits with cd drive, dash fascia an all other un needed parts for stupid money. In the uk so links to decent fakra cables wont ship to uk. Any idea if the antenna is the same in all ford sync 3 such as a fiesta?

Sync 3 antenna all use the same connection so it would work either way. You will still need a Fakra cable anyway so maybe just but the 3rd party GPS antenna that is in the Sync install thread.

Cheers, the problem is im in uk so the links are all aus based. Gone to dealer in the end. £35 gbp so just went new at that price.

Thats what i thought, then asked how much the usb hub was, £90gpb hahahah ok for some stuff crazy for next.

Just a quick update to this, it appears SA built vehicles the antenna is mounted slightly different, its pre stuck to a plastic base that clips behind the air vent pipe. It took me about 15mins to finally spot its hiding place, which guess why the breakers missed it as well.

In the picture it is behind the vent pipe at the back, can see the cable end as have unplugged it. its very akward to unplug. then dropped the unit down back of dash and retrieved it behind peddles

Will have a look another time but I could not find the unit in an MY19 Everest so maybe it also moved to that position. I can really make out the photo but get the general description. Left or right hand side of the vehicle?

If sat in driver seat RHD, the plastic airvent pipe that feeds the small vent by light controls. Its behind that, on the right hand side right at back corner. Almost where the a pillar would meet the wing. Had to sit low it seat an use a torch, could just see it. Used a combination of prying the vent pipe down and hooking it closer then get the Mrs small hands to unplug it.
