Hi All,

Just finalising PIDS for BPTs new tuning tool.

Need someone to test this PID please with DPF model, it is not a visually informative PID unless you have a list in front of you but will at least give an answer for those that monitor DPF more closely.

Active Engine Operating Mode

Torque
PID: 22060E
Module: 7E0
Math: A

OBDlink
PID: 060E
Module: 7E0
Math: A
Mode: 22

Scangauge
TXD: 07E022060E
RXF: 04620506060E
RXD: 3008
MTH: 000100010000

Ultragauge
TDATA: 07E022060E0000
TCTRL: 93 RCTRL: 31
RPOS: 2008 MTCH: 62060E
X: 0001 /: 0001 +: 0000
OUT: 00 AVE: 00
L/R: 00

Info displayed will be 0 to 9

0 - Normal Operating Mode
1 - Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration Heat Up Phase
2 - Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration Regeneration Phase
3 - Fast Catalyst Light Off (FCLO) Mode
4 - Slow Soot Burn (SSB) Mode
5 - Engine Start Mode
6 - Fast Engine Start Mode
7 - Lean NOx Trap (LNT) DeNOx
8 - Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) DeNOx
9 - Operator Commanded Regen (OCR)

Basically if you believe it is showing correctly in regards to DPF it is what is important. Just because a mode exists and may display does not mean the vehicle itself supports it.

Thanks.
Stewart

And another - Average Distance Between Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regenerations

Tested and should work. This is an multi frame, so not the norm.

Torque
PID: 22F48B
Module: 7E0
Math: ((256*F)+G)

OBDlink
PID: F48B
Module: 7E0
Math: ((256*F)+G)
Mode: 22

Scangauge
No idea how Scangauge handles extended frames.

Ultragauge
TDATA: 07E022F48B0000
TCTRL: 93 RCTRL: 10
RPOS: 1810 MTCH: 210000
X: 0001 /: 0001 +: 0000
OUT: 00 AVE: 00
L/R: 00

The default PID that is in Obdlink says it averages 363 klms
The new one says 32512 klms

Have amended the Average Distance Between Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regenerations above.

This should show correctly, I was reading the wrong byte.

Not sure where OBDlink is pulling it from but does not seem to be custom PID.

Mine at idle shows ..:

Active Engine Operating Mode = 0
Average Distance Between Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regenerations = 318

What should we expect as we drive for Active Engine Operating Mode?
I assume if using an Ultraguage we wouldn’t ever see “Engine Start Mode” as the display takes a few seconds to show?

Active Engine shows 0 while driving
It shows 8 with ignition on, engine off.

Distance between regens is identical to OBDLink, 363 klms

As per list;

0 - Normal Operating Mode
1 - Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration Heat Up Phase
2 - Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration Regeneration Phase
3 - Fast Catalyst Light Off (FCLO) Mode
4 - Slow Soot Burn (SSB) Mode
5 - Engine Start Mode
6 - Fast Engine Start Mode
7 - Lean NOx Trap (LNT) DeNOx
8 - Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) DeNOx
9 - Operator Commanded Regen (OCR)

It may r may not show burn, it was requested to be added to the list for BPT new tool before release so I added it. Personally I have no use for it.
