Can anyone, everyone list their highest EGT temps on a burn please.

State what EGT probe you are reading next to the temp. I'm following up on some diagnostic work for someone else.

Thanks.

I've used the SG one and have seen it at 605. It reads the same as forscan on EGT13.

Results using an Ultraguage with the above settings.
Temp sitting around 350 @ 70 - 80 kph
Soot reached 100% & within 1 minute the temp rapidly climbed.
I scan 5 pages @ 15secs per page so around a 75 sec cycle time.
350 to 510
510 to 580
580 to 650
650 to 693 max, next cycle it was falling.

So Ross, the above is with my exhaust manifold PIDs above and not egt13 and showing max 700 during a burn?

For reference my non dpf exhaust manifold temps run around 350 to 390 at 100kph.

Reason I ask for the exhaust manifold is I have someone reading 1700c on a burn which is telling the sensor is probably stuffed. 1700 would melt the cast if or at a minimum be glowing red/white.

That is correct Stewart.

Max may have been a little higher during the cycle delay but not much looking at the figures

FYI, this is a burn cycle for a 2019 3.2 DPF while cruising at 110. From the time the cycle starts to its finish is about 8.5 minutes.
S1, S2 and S3 are at the front, middle and rear of DPF.
The dashed yellow reference line represents 600C. The solid yellow line is the exhaust manifold EGT sensor.
(the dip in temp after the burn is a short slowdown to 80 km/h, then back to 110)
