OBDII interface ex Toyota will it work with Forscan

I have this cable I used with Techstream software on my old Prado. It worked fine.

Will it be OK for Forscan ? From the little research I have had time to do, I think not.

That cable may well work.

Try the different passthrough interfaces in Forscan as it does support the J2534 protocol. Select the J2534 connection type in the connection settings and see what happens.

If you can see the IPC then it is working correctly.

Ok I have finally gotten round to trying this J2534 adaptor and it does connect, however it appears I can't see all the modules I am supposed to.

Still some config settings to play around with but don't hold out much hope

It does not appear to support the MSCAN interface.

Buy one of these, cheap and will access all modules viewtopic.php?f=56&t=393
