Hi all,
I have a fairly standard 2015 BT-50 that is used mainly for towing our 19’6” caravan.
I have fitted a ScanGauge 2, mainly to monitor transmission temperature when towing, but have been told by my Mazda dealer that the X-Gauge codes that ScanGauge advertise are actually reading about 10 degrees hotter than the actual transmission fluid temp.
I’m hoping to get some insight into this on the forum.

I believe Ford/Mazda's IDS software calculatioms for the PID are wrong.
You could tell them a 100 times and it would be lucky if it is ever fixed. This is not the first time there has ever been an error in the software either.
Scangauge and UG codes I have listed are are correct.
I don't believe scangauge Aus has updated their site with the correct maths either so even that is out a tad.

I’ve just recently set up x-gauge for transmission temps. Testing at stall, I’m confident that the SG2 is reading correctly in my 2023 Ranger Wildtrak. I’ve been a diesel mechanic for 34 years.
