DPF Regen Gauge - PX3 only

XL,XLS 720-07-02 x8xx-xxxx
XLT 720-07-02 x9xx-xxxx
Everest 720-07-02 xBxx-xxxx

If you want to confirm the change is correct.

Take the initial value eg. 3 and in windows calc or other changed to programmer mode, select hex and add 8 to your start value, the new character is what you will use.

Gauge can be found in Driver Assist/DPF Status

As per first post it is a manual change in IPC asbuilt and not in Forscan IPC NON asbuilt.

This is great, have been missing such functionality on my diesel Subaru for years... I got a question, though.
Will I be able to manually force a regen trough this mode? If not what is required to be able to do so?

The gauge does not exist in the PX2 IPC firmware. Can’t display something that does not exist.

No, use Forscan to do manual regen.

Hi
Has anyone cross referenced what is displayed in the menu against the PID for any of the 3rd party apps?

Mine heavily contradicts what obd link and forscan display.

Is the 'soot level' PID different to Fords filter level displayed in the menu?

Yeah, odblink shows a bit less on mine.
Currently the car shows 15%, while for obdlink it is 12%.
Last time I checked, car was showing 70%, obdlink 60%.
Anyway, I am quite fine with the difference.

Forscan should equal what the cluster says. I have no way of check any of this as I do not have a DPF.

menu does not show what forscan does.
in obd link, I use the PID you list which matches up with forscan.

its almost like the menu %, is %to when it wants to do a burn. not actually the soot load %

On my snapon scanner there are two pids for % soot loading currently ones at 20 and ones at 80.

Percentage of Soot Mass in IDS is identical to the PID I have.

If a couple want to read the cluster value, then in Forscan read and save your PCM asbuilt. I will check if it equals of the DPF values in there. There are approx 16 values in PCM asbuilt that apply to DPF.
