I do not use parkers with DRLs so have never looked to see if they also dim. Thinking about it, it does make sense that they would.
There is no option to change this behaviour.

HID lights will need relays to power them and also changes in the bcm with Forscan.

Hi I was wondering if you’re able to show me how you ran the relays for the raptor lights please? I’ve been trying to find relay kits online but it seems impossible to find for the d8s bulb.

Any help is appreciated mate thanks

See an auto electrician. There is no pre made relay kit for these. You are not powering the globes, you are powering the ballast that powers the globe.

Sorry to be annoying mate, I’ve already tried taking it to auto elecs and they’ve basically just palmed me off.
Are these ballasts part of the headlight or are they seperate ? There is the osram headlight module underneath the headlight ? Or is a seperate ballast needed for the raptor lights ? Thanks

I never had the HID headlights. I had the LED headlights so no relays were required.

I have only ever suggested that HIDs required relays due to the factory wiring diagrams having them and the fact that if a ballast fails it could send high voltage back to the BCM and destroy it.

Any competent auto electrician that knows what they are doing can convert low beam in the headlights to activate through a relay. There is nothing special or a special way. Then someone will need to make the programming change with Forscan.
