Is it possible to modify the gear box shifting to be more smooth. My gear box had a software update with FORD at the last service and since then is far more jerky .
I do notice the HARSH SHIFT window on the scanner and that there are gear shifting options re timing and ratios etc
Vehicle still under warranty.

No, not with anything we have anyway. Asbuilt does not appear to hold these changes from what I have worked out. The asbuilt is the strategy and that strategy is programmed to suit the components that are in your particular box. Confirmed this in a few different ways, you could just let it relearn and it may get better over time or reset it in Forscan if the facilty is there. I have not looked, it is in Fords software though.
