Hello all,
Thank you for allowing me to join this forum.
I recently fitted a Scanguage 2 to my 2016 PX2 Ranger and would like to know if anyone has successfully programmed their Scanguage to read the EGT. I have keyed in the x-gauge codes specified by Scanguage Australia, which they claim have confirmed to be working on a 2017 PX2. All I get is a reading of 1000, which does not change when driving and is obviously not correct. My vehicle was delivered in early 2016 and does not have a Diesel Particulate Filter ('DPF'), and I am wondering if the specified x-gauge codes only work on a Ranger that is fitted with a DPF.

Hi
I just had a look at Stewart's Scanguage PID Calculator and note the only options are for vehicles with a DPF.
Check it out here https://www.saeb.net/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=57

I concur with RossPat, I believe the non-DPF vehicles don't have the required sensors.

Thanks Gerry. My local Ford dealer has assured me that my vehicle does have the EGT sensors, but not the DPF. It seems that the absence of the DPF is the reason why the specified x-gauge codes do not work on my vehicle. I appreciate the responses from you and RossPat.
