I dissembled an UG I had sitting around and cut a phone screen protector to suit. It sits under the plastic surrounding lip so it should never peel off.
It is nicer to look at, can be wiped clean without scratches. I find the standard screen to easily scratch with very fine dust when cleaned. All in all worth it.

I put a screen protector for a tablet on the Sync3 screen, easier to keep clean

Hi Stewart,
Do you have any tips on cutting the screen protector to get clean edges?
Cheers,
Rick.

My choice of weapon would be a craft knife and a flat square.
What I did was disassemble the UG and cut the screen protector approx 2mm oversize so when reassembled it is under the plastic and never peel off. For this I just used scissors. I used a quality plastic protector no the glass ones.
