Hi,
I'm chasing after the PID for the following, but having a hard time tracing them down without reverse engineering the apps.
The PCM PID list in the other thread is giving a PHP error.
I'm using an arduino, so no 'pre-programmed' pids. It is basically blank.
I already have Engine Coolant and Transmission temp working, but need the following.
Intercooler Temp - Sensor in intercooler.
MAP - Boost pressure
Cabin Temp - Inside Car Temperature. (Tried 22-F446 & 22-9D0E & 01-46)
Ambient Temp - Sensor in-front of radiator. (Tried 22-2858 & 22-0461 & 01-68)
The standard OBD code and other codes I found for ambient gives the MAF sensor temp. This can't be used for our purpose.

Hi,
Is there and chance you could post the transmission temp PUD you have? Im chasing it as I seem to be getting wrong readings on the torque pro app.

Hi Stewart, picking up on this old thread.
Do you have the PIDs for cyl_bal?

For a PX1 is it in Forscan as a PID?
There are some references in my other documents but the naming convention is not totally clear.

Yes, Forscan can read CylBal but I don't what it is actually measuring.
The reference values for the px1 that I downloaded (table below) from https://www.fordserviceinfo.com/ suggest the range for CYL_BAL_1-4 is +/- 8mg.
Outputs PID KOEO Hot Idle "48 KM/H (30 MPH)" "89 KM/H (55 MPH)" "Units Measured/PID"
CYL_BAL_1-4 PID -8 TO +8(B) -8 TO +8 -8 TO +8 -8 TO +8 mg
CYL_FUELMOD _ 1-4 PID "100 to 106(B)" 99 to 101 98 to 101 100 to 104 %
What Forscan reads are values in a different range with no unit specified eg:
Name Value Description
CylBal_1 1.05852516 Cylinder 1 Contribution/Balance
CylBal_2 1.01008992 Cylinder 2 Contribution/Balance
CylBal_3 0.90421604 Cylinder 3 Contribution/Balance
etc etc for cyls 4 and 5.
Forscan doesn't seem to have access to CYL_FUELMOD _ 1-4.
I'd like to have the PIDs for my ultragauge but it is rather useless if the values in Forscan are unknown/cannot be converted to the units used in the reference values.

Units are Undefined / Not Used, so basically there is no more information. 1.00 would normally be your middle ground for reference.
There is no reference to CYL_FUELMOD in any shape or form.
There is provision for min/max fuel trim limits DTCs but no reference to what the min and max values are.
The information you posted and how it is explained would normal refer to running a power balance test. I did monitor a test a while back and it did not try to access any diagnostic PIDs. It was most likely monitoring live CAN ids directly so I never looked into it any further.
Power balance test in IDS KEKO, key on key off etc...
