What I am trying to do is:
- Disable the ANC completely
- Bring the factory outputs to a lower line level
- Flatten the factory EQ
However, I fear from my mucking around I have stuffed something up (hence asking elsewhere for help restoring the factory AsBuilt ACM)
FYI This is the HEX I had input to the ACM Module:
The result of this HEX was:727-01-01 9E00-1808-9A8A
727-01-02 0045-76
- ANC has been completely disabled
- Factory outputs are at standard high output
- Flattening of the factory EQ has worked
- Reverse beeper sound has changed, think its coming through IPC module not speakers
I have tried both HEX changes you suggested with the following results:
The result of this HEX was:
- ANC has been completely disabled
- Factory outputs are at a lower level
- Flattening of the factory EQ has worked
- Reverse beeper sound is normal but both it and door chimes are very faint
The result of this HEX was:
- ANC has been completely disabled
- All volume controls disabled
- Factory outputs levels very high and distorted
- Unable to tell if eq is flat or not, too distorted
- Reverse beeper sound has changed, think its coming through IPC module not speakers
So in summary I am now using:
This has done everything I needed! BUT..
The reverse beeper sound did not change back to normal, it still sounded like it was coming through the IPC not the speakers. But then I left the car and came back to it half hour later and the ford chime noise is back and coming through the speakers! Though it's very faint in volume, same as the door chimes.
Any ideas why? Would this be something that’s been effected by changes in the ACM Module? I read elsewhere that this could be because the head unit is not detecting the resistance from the factory speakers?
I'm also finding that no matter what the output level of the head unit is set to I'm getting a weird clipping / static noise when I turn the volume up a bit (it's not distortion, it's more like a signal clipping or loose wires but nothing is loose.) see video bellow:

FYI I don’t know if this has any relevance but I had made the following changes successfully before modifying the ACM and the reverse beep was as per normal:
- disabled the engine auto start stop in the IPC + BdyCM module’s
- Disabled horn beep when leaving car with key in the BdyCM module
- Disabled all seat belt chimes in the IPC Module
