Hi
Trying to turn off the park, number plate drl lights from coming on every time I open the door.
Mine is a 2019.75 ranger Wildtrak and I have successfully changed a couple of parameters in the software (dual Battery, double honk etc ) but have so far been unable to get this police/ dark mode to work. I've tried all the suggestions others have done but doesn't seem to work on mine.
Any other ideas?

IPC non asbuilt.

Enable silent mode.

Menu is in the right hand cluster display, settings/vehicle/silent mode.

That didn't work. I don't seem to have an ipc module, just a bdycm. There is another module that has a silent mode which I enabled but no change either in menu options or disabling the lights. Is sync 3 different to early versions in this regard maybe.

Further to above I realised by reading other comments that maybe I need a USB adaptor to see other modules as I only have the Bluetooth adaptor
Is this right?

Hi.
It will depend on what Bluetooth adapter you are using, a lot of the cheaper ones will not read all modules.
Your copy of Forscan must be licensed to read all modules
And finally, the USB dongle available from this site will work for sure.

Can this be done with the single screen dash cluster variant?

Yes, that cluster supports the change.

Ok, so I've done this as well. Cool to have that in the menu.
But.. It blacks out the whole car, interior lights etc... also doesn't allow the lights to flash when car is unlocked with the remote.

Is there a way to just stop the lights coming on when you open the doors and keep the flash of lights when unlocking?

Thanks

As far as I am aware you have two choices
Stock & silent
