Hi all
Quick question re selling my old Sync2 head unit. Does it need to be recoded with the target vehicle VIN, and if not will that cause problems either in the vehicle, or later at a Ford dealer (for me with a recoded Sync3 head unit, or the new owner of my old one)?

It will pull VIN from BCM. There is nothing you need to do and it will not cause problems in either vehicle, dealer etc.
