Oh this is way too exciting!

I'm about to reinstall some mods that Ford cleared and would love to get this working too. Will PM you Saeb.

Do so, I have one other interested party in Tasmania but it will take a few to cover costs to go down for a day. PM for more info.

I know you need the lane assist (which I have), but do you need to have that enabled for TSR to work? I notice your pics show lane assist on when the speed signs are showing.

Might have to work out how we can get this working on mine at some stage. :)

Cheers
Hey Gerry, I have been meaning to contact you but things are so out of control at the moment that I have nearly forgotten my name.

Give me a week and I will give you a buzz then we can go from there.

No worries Stewart, I can see that things are a bit hectic for you at the moment.

I'll be out of phone contact for all of next week including the following weekend as I'm doing some volunteer work at Witchelina Station (conservation park). Never been there before so hoping it will be fun.

I hope things go well for you with all of the events you have planned. Oh, and love the Facebook pages too... how do you find time to sleep? Lol

Take care mate...

Thanks Stewart for the TSR enable yesterday on my Ranger. Works great!
I shouldn't now have to ask "what speed limit is it here again?" when not taking notice of speed limit signs...I can just glance down.
Cheers,
Russell.

Thanks Stewart for the work on Friday and the chat. So far it is working as it is meant to, but the tolerance bit is still showing up in MPH

I know mine only switched over to km/h after I went past a couple of 100 km/h signs.

Maybe a silly question but you do have KMH set in your menu?

Yes I do. I triple checked that bit. It started working this morning at 3.30am after going some road works where the speed went from 80 - 100 a couple of time. All good now.
Cheers

Any way I can get traffic sign recognition activated On my PX2 wildtrak in South Australia. It would be a great asset to have this feature.

Hey guys are there pro's and con's to this. The reason i ask is all streets in Brisbane that dont have as speed sign on them are classed as 50kmh. So if i turn off a street that is an 80kmh into a 50khm with no sign it wont adjust so what would be the advantage of this. Also where i live there are signs out here that just say END 80kmh and thats it. So again the recognition wont change.
But alot of people are raving about this mod so just asking am i missing something???

I recently drove a Holden Calais that had a very similar system. It was only a 20km journey but it appears that if you turn off one road onto another and it doesnt see a sign, the speed limit display is removed. So, when driving the Holden along a 70km/h dual carriageway, I turned off onto a 50km/h street and the 70km/h display disappeared. It appears, on the Holden at least, the scenario you describe would be covered.

thanks Stewart for traffic sign recognition. just a quick question though, after passing a speed sign it shows on the right hand display and flashes if you exceed the speed limit but if you don't pass another speed sign within about a kilometre it greys out and does not flash any more if you exceed the speed limit until you pass another speed sign, it then lights up and works again for about a kilometre is this how it is supposed to work?

Yes, that's how it's supposed to work.

Mine did the same and I was curious so I downloaded a MY19 user manual and it explained all about the way it works, so you are OK.

The system displays recognizable traffic signs in four stages as follows:
All new traffic signs appear brighter than the others in the display.
After a predetermined time they display normally.
After a predetermined distance they are greyed out.
After another predetermined distance they are deleted.
