My PX2 is the same. I have a gps speedo on the dash. Or using an OBD dongle or something like a Scangauge will show you the correct speed (for standard tyre size) as the 4-6 kph increase is only at the speedo.

So i have been putting in 09DC (285/70/17) into the BCM 726-12-01 but when i go to relearn the PCM and TCM it comes up with a fault code p160a:00-af even though there were no DTC's prior to update.
Strange thing is when i do a re-learn with the default values and no DTC's, it still comes up.
The only thing i can think of is because of the Ford recall on the 10 speed auto's with the update that Ford have configured something different, so i am not game enough to relearn the PCM and TCM when ford have done a recall.
Has anyone else had this problem?

There up date has no relevance to this what so ever.
Run the relearns and clear the dtcs.

Thanks Stewart, that works a treat Speedo 80 GPS 77 like wise 60/57. Makes a huge difference, doesn't feel like it's labouring anymore.
On another note, My stock settings from factory were 924 for 265/65/17 but according to the calculator they should be 936.
When I put stockiest back on should I use 924 or 936, assuming benefits would be more accurate DTE and Speedo?
Thanks in advance, I'll donate some $ for all your assistance with everything.

There appears to be a slight difference with that box for whatever reason. I always use my own calcs either way.

Hey Guys,
So i changed my tyres to a 275/70/17 on my 2020 wildtrak from the standard 265/60/18
The stock number was 2355, as per the tiresize calculator it sais to change it 2565
275 on stock number of 2355 was almost 100% spot on with with GPS and Speedo
275 on 2565 is around 7km/h faster on the speedo
Im assuming im better off taking it back down to the original number, thoughts?

Yeah, just take it to whatever number gets you closest to 100% spot on GPS speed wise.

You do realise that if you get your speedo right, your DTE, odometer, service intervals and even your auto gear changes will all be wrong?
The speedo has a firmware 'factor' of some 4-6kmh which is applied to the speedo only.
What you should do is adjust the tyre size so that your gps speed matches the speed displayed by Forscan, Scangauge, Ultragauge, or any OBD reader.
If your speedo reads correctly, then everything else that uses speed will be out of whack.

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if someone could help me out and confirm my tyre size calculation and the changes I've done with Forscan.
The original tyre size was 265/65/17 which I've changed to 265/70/17. According to the calculator the true circumference of the 265/65 is 2439mm and the true circumference of the 265/70 is 2522mm, so a difference of 83mm. Now I got into the BdyCM non-as-bulit and the original setting for my car (2020.75 XLT) was 2340mm, I guess this is the corrected Ford value, I have changed this to 2423mm, so added the 83mm to the original Ford value. There is no DTC in the PCM or TCM even so I haven't done a re-learn. If I do try to increase the value any further by 1mm to 2424mm then it throws a DTC so it seems the 83mm increase is the maximum I can get to which I guess should to the job.
Is there anything I've missed?
Thanks for any feedback.
Cheers, Urs

Same as CUTravellers, I'm in a 2020.75 XLT and max I can input is 2423mm. I was hoping the PX3 might have allowed larger tyres - I have Wildtrack 18" rims (didn't order or pay for them but that's what it turned up with). I've fitted 275/65-18 tyres which are within the legal limit, so I'd have thought Ford would allow that tyre size to be added.
I tried changing to 2475mm and it threw an error code and prompted me to relearn the TCM. I was unsure so didn't but instead changed tyre circumference to 2423mm and cleared the error code, no TCM relearn prompt.
If I had cleared the error and done the relearn would it accept the higher value?
Is there any harm in doing a TCM relearn with an incorrect value?
Does the TCM relearn need to be done to apply the circumference change?

Does 094B work on 6spd auto px2? 275/50r20 calculator says that but then goes on its for the 10 spd or something?

094B will work on a 6 speed without issues. That change would not require my custom firmware to acheive.

Hi Guys, After going through the hole posts I am really confused.
I have a 2021 3.2 L 6 speed auto Ranger wildtrak not sure what Px it s. My standard tyre was 265/60 R 18. New tyres are 265/70R18. After change the speedo reads 120 kph and GPS reads 122 kph. I am not sure what value I have to use in Forscan. Can someone please help.
Regards
J

Hi Stewart,
I have a PX3 2.0 MY19.75 Wildtrak and I have recently oversized my wheels with BF AT's 32.5". My speedo is out now. And I am trying to correct this with the Forscan software cable and software I bought off you.
In BdyCm Module Factory. I typed in 726-12-01 following Others posts with 0977 in the middle section. I got the below warning message and I aborted.
"It may be a typo if you enter as built data from a reliable source. It may be OK if you change the configuration. The following block(s) have this problem:"
I was not sure if I should press enter when I saw this warning message above. I thought not. I have saved files before hand.
I'm keen to know what next to do please or if I'm in the right area?

Use the calculator on the very first on the first page. Read everything that is written in full and follow the process. You have no reason to use 0977 if using the calculator.
Press ok to change configuration.

I have changed the circumference of my tyres in Forscan 2439mm, (265/70r17) and the speedo is still out by 4km. I’ve checked the asbuilt and this has been changed to 0987 as shown.
Is this correct? Would have though the speedo would be closer to 2-3km out.

Can somebody please run my tyres through the calculator, if it's still there? I used it last night and now it's not showing up on the first post for me. They're 285/55R20. I just need the number to put into non-asbuilt.
Also, will I need to do any relearns once I've done that, considering I've been driving around on them for about 500km now?
