SSM 46645 - 2015-2016 Ranger/Everest Vehicles Built Up-to 30-Nov-2016 - Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Inoperative. Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) U3000:49 may also be present
Some 2015-2016 Ranger and Everest vehicles built up-to 30-Nov-2016 may experience the ACC not functioning as intended. DTC U3000:49 (Control Module: Internal Electronic Failure) may also be present. Should a vehicle present with the above condition(s), technicians are advised to refer to 2015-2017 Ranger Workshop Manual (WSM) Section: 419-03B Cruise Control-Vehicles With: Adaptive Cruise Control,Diagnosis and Testing. If diagnosis results in the replacement of the ACC module, please replace it with module (part number EB3T-9G853-AG). For additional information, refer to WSM Section: 419-03B. Please use service labor operation number 9853A from section 09 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) manual and refer to this SSM when completing a claim. SSM: 46645
