Before I go and snap something, anyone got tips on removal of the headlamp switch?
Or better still, a photo of the rear of the switch?

You are able to see the back by looking up from the BCM area.
Push the to black circles clips in, I cannot remember if there are 2 at the top also but it will start to come out as you will see. Worst case you will have to pop vent trim also.

Turns out this is really simple and doesn't even require tools. The headlamp switch panel can be easily pulled out by hand, just grab the lower edge of the panel and give it a pull to release the bottom clips, then pull at the right end to release the top right clip, then the top left clip releases easily.
