Had Robbie around this arvo who owns a Manual PX2.

He is running 285/70 R17 so a pretty big tyre.

First thing I did was change his BCM tyre size with no faults. First time I tried in a manual and with no TCM the manual gives no faults if you go above 0977. So manual owners go for your lives and if you need the correct hex for your tyre size hit me up in a new thread in the tyre area.

I went one step further on Robbies vehicle and also changed his PCM to match the new tyre size. I do not know of this ever being done before so I class it as a first on a Ranger. He went for a run and he is back in factory spec on his odometer once again but he also has the added benefit of knowing his PCM also has the correct tyre size so all his safety features should work as expected. Bonus..........

Lots of cool stuff in the PCM :)

Nice work. Manual might be the go-to for the big tyre boys now eh. Does that imply the auto needs some digging around the TCM to align with the BCM changes?

Possibly Richard.

I will look at mine more tomorrow although the TCM appears to be the deciding factor. Even changing the PCM in mine tonight did not fully sort my Auto so I need more time.

I did the PCM in Robbies as I thought it was safe bet even though it didn't through a code without it being done. Most modules do talk to each other so no contradictions would always equal a good thing.
