Hi All,

Just wondering if anybody has had an issue with the front park sensor after fitting an aftermarket bar.
My inside front right keeps beeping at random when the vehicle is stationary.

Is a recal of the sensors required after a new bar is fitted?

I have access to Forscan and can reset or cal if required.

Thanks for your help

Pretty normal. It is generally that particular sensor that has issues.

I believe it is still sensor placement seeing number plate most of the time as I fitted mine from scratch and moved the an inch outwards from where aftermarket bar suppliers put them and have never had an issue.

There is nothing you can calibrate with any tool. Calibration files have hardcoded values unfortunately.

Ford released an update for vehicles with "Factory Fitted" bars that was meant to resolve the issue and may well have but I did a test run with the updated calibration and ARB bar and I had false alarms instantly and continuously so reverted to factory calibration files again.
