Hi guys,

I’m hoping someone can help me out.

I brought a second hand Aeroklas canopy from a camera car that does a 4wd show on channel 10.
Anyway, they can’t find the keys for it so I can’t put it on due to not being able to lock it.
I’ve tried flexiglass up here in Sydney and tried to contact Aeroklas directly but not having any luck.
I’ve also tried a couple of locksmiths but they can’t open the barrel.

The key # is 284 which is stamped on the key and also the locks.

If anyone has this number key would it be possible if you could let me know by PM?

I’d be willing to pay for cost of getting one cut and postage plus $100 on top for your time & effort.
I’m trying to get this sorted before I go away for Xmas.

Many thanks,
Cheers,
Bob.

My thoughts as a previous life being an Auto Locksmith.

There is no listing in any code programs with this branding, so no codes, cuts etc.

Personally for the time and effort it would be quicker to replace the complete lockset, assuming the doors are original. If they have them in stock at least you would have them before Christmas if they express post.

Thanks for the reply mate.
I ended up finding the Aeroklas customer service number, now that the website is back online, they’re sending me a key and a blank free of charge.
Should be here Friday or Monday at the latest he said.

I offered to pay but he insisted there was no cost.
I wasn't expecting it to be that easy let alone free...

First World problem eliminated!

Cheers,
Bob.
