finally got the protection and recovery fitted.

why ARB? not many recovery points compatible with the factory bumper to sit low enough.
the RoadSafe ones destroy your approach angle, mine is currently around 60 degrees with Tyres and lift.

Got the set of Stedi Leds in and oh boy reading how much difference there is from others don't do them justice.

the Forscan drl fog light setting looks awesome now they are white during the day and the parkers look sweet when unlocking the doors at night.

When the lows are on at night and you turn on the Fogs the two combined flood directly in front of ute up to the high beam mark and more out to the corners of bonnet, set up tape on the garage door and the pattern did not change or the height of the cut off line highly recommend.

left the high beams out as I need to remove Couplertec controller to get to them and couldn't be bothered on the day.

did they just come out as I never came accross them when searching, allot better than the hanging RoadSafe items.

they still wont work for me though without a front bar but they look good, If I had a bar I would of thrown on the Uneek ones when i did the install but good to see the top selling ute actually getting new designed parts.

do you have ARB front bar as there is talk the Ironman points dont fit with them?

I like the look of your ironman recovery points. Do you have them fitted with an ARB summit bar?

I might get a set if they suit the ARB bar.

I'm going through the same decision process. Factory bumper but wanting recovery points and skid plates.

My current thinking is ARB incl their 3mm plates, vs Roadsafe (pic attached) + 4mm Ironman plates. Or maybe Superior incl their 4mm plates is an option but is harder to get over here.

Do you have any more pics of the ARB recovery point on your ute, and thoughts re 3mm vs 4mm?

Make sure you attach a cable to the recovery point and have the other end attached to the bull bar before you go bush.

It can be a real pita to get a cable on the recovery point when you are bogged, prepare to dig.

The ARB plates are very good.

Weakest link with anything that retains the standard bumper is the attachment to the underside of the chassis front crossmember/crash bar. You have a very strong plate that's pushing up on the underside of a thin metal section voa two round bosses. In the event of a big bump/bounce that forces the bash plate upward, its just going to bend the lower face of the crash bar about 20mm.

Having said that, after the initial 20mm deflection is appears that it'd be OK and wont have contacted the radiator.

I looked at Superior's recovery point but it uses less attachment points than the ARB and the quality of welding on some of their products looks a bit.... errrr.. well.... ARB was better!
