Hi Everyone
I thought I will post my TPMS install for anyone els who wants to see Tyre pressures on a PX2.
I bought this unit on Amazon and So far (4 weeks) has proven very reliable and working great.
It has nice features like auto dimmer and charging with solar so no wires. It turns on automatically when it senses any vibration
Also it fits out of the way and doesn’t look to bad just above the mirror.
Also note that it has it’s own sensors it does not work with the oem sensors.

I have the same unit, my only complaint is that the tyre "acorns" seem to use up their small batteries at an alarming rate. While at their cost - roughly a $1.00 each battery its not a huge expense I've learnt to make sure I always carry at least 6 of them in the console.

No, but they don’t seem to affect wheel balance at all I made sure after installing them to test this At 60,80,100 and 120km/h no vibration of shaking but cannot guarantee That anyone else’s truck wil be the same

Very easy - only you have to re-program all four tyres in the correct sequence if you need to change just one battery so my solution was before setting off to replace all four batteries and them carry out the programming - that way I learnt that they would last the trip - say over the Simpson Desert a distance of around 700 kms. I keep the replaced batteries stuck on a strip of racing tape so that they don't discharge on each other.

I have the 4 wheels reading on the UltraGauge, custom PID's using Mguage using the stock Ford sensors, no battery issues

I changed all 4 battery's with new more reliable brand battery's luckily it wasn't necessary to reprogram them they just worked after I screw them back on and they where lying around for a few hours without battery's as I took them out for samples to buy new ones so maybe they changed something to make it easier to not reprogram them? But so far I really like them bought a few extra as they are perfect for gifts

Its a thought certainly but as I only use mine off road - on dirt - and my speed and tyre pressures are right down, say below 50 kph and 16-18 psi and on often badly corrugated tracks a wheel(s) out of balance simply wouldn't be noticed.
I did weigh an "acorn" with a battery installed and it was below 10 grams so as that's about the smallest self adhesive weight you can get I guess it's not really an issue.
Once I'm back on bitumen I pull over pump up my tyres back up to 38/40 and as I do so I remove the "Acorn (s)" and turn the solar powered display off.

I did think of that but having the solar powered display on the windscreen with an audible alarm seemed the better way to go, I like the way the screen changes at night or when it gets dark with a good back light.
With new batteries installed the acorns are good for well over a week and the "old" batteries get "re-cycled" in several remote controls we have around the house, the front door chime button for example and the TV, that aren't so voltage sensitive.
