Heya Mate.
Just entered these settings into my UG and all seems to be working
AUTO TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE
TDATA: 07E1221E1C0000
TCTRL: 93 RCTRL: 31
RPOS: 2010 MTCH: 621E1C
X: 000A /: 0010 +:0000
OUT: 05 AVE: 00
L/R: 32
My question is, it is displaying value as 315xxx
The engine temp and outside temp were showing around 31 cold as its around 31 today. can i assume that there is a decimal point that needs to go somewhere. the engine and outside temps are from UG directly so not sure how to configure the trans temp to show the same. Unless i got something else wrong.
Thanks in advance.
Koff

Forscan which got it data from Ford's IDS software is wrong. Both are wrong and the calculations are incorrect.
Look at Forscan Lite, Forscan or my original calculations which equalled Forscan and IDS and you will see they are low. This new calculation as above will nearly mimic the coolant temp when the vehicle has been left turned off overnight, this is the correct math as worked through via email with a Scangauge engineer from the states.

Hi all,
Today l installed my UG and inputed the values to get my auto transmission fluid temp. It is showing 115+ degrees celsius, which would think extremely high for my ute Idling. What have l done wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated for a novice.
Regards
Col.

Without seeing what you have entered currently, no one can really answer.

I have a 2017 Ranger and an Ultragauge which I bought specifically to monitor Auto Trans temp. I get as far as the attached picture, but no option comes up for 32 in the L/R section. Am I doing something wrong or have the parameters changed? Cheers, Shane

L/R, Left/Right, down the bottom. Change to 32, select and scroll all the way to 32. Range is 00 to FF and they will all change.
