Will have to buy licence then from original download link.
Never had an issue and link works fine. https://forscan.org/download/FORScanSet ... 8.beta.exe

If that does not work then the issue is on your end.

The issue was the capitalised "HTML" at the end of the link. The webserver FORscan use is case sensitive apparently.

For some reason my saeb adapter is getting a conterfeit error in Forscan 2.3.39beta and not working very well (slow and missing configs)
Is there an issue with it and the latest update or is something wrong with the adpater?

No, change the connection settings to FTDI or message me with your issues.

Hi guys
My adapter arrived the other day, so I thought I'd try connect to the ranger.
I am getting a 'No adapter found error"
I have followed the instructions here, minus step 2 ( I am windows 10 )
Any advice?
EDIT:
Ended up installing drivers (step 2)
All good now

Hi guys. Just a quick question. I registered on the forscan forum and have read here it can take a few days for registration to be validated by mods, just wondering has anyone had it take longer than a week? I got the first email after registering saying my account has to be activated by mod and I'll receive an email when that's done but no follow up email ever came (I've checked spam folder) and my account isn't active.

Cheers
Matt

Email them at [email protected] and ask.

If it drags on for too long, let me know and will flick them a message.

Have performed some basic checks via Forscan and ELM327 (Modified) USB connector (waiting for the recommended Dongle from this site to arrive in the mail)...and want to confirm sequence of connection. Ford Everest 21.75

My understanding is that Cable should be connected, and Engine running, BEFORE you connect via Forscan Software. Is this correct ?
Also, all instructions suggest the Ignition should be ON and Ignition OFF/ON after each change. With latest models utilising Keyless Entry and Start Button...is it ok that I will be Stopping Engine and Restarting Engine after each change (as opposed to Ignition OFF/ON) ?

Correct with cable.

Do not have the vehicle running ever. Ignition on only. Only reason the vehicle is going to start is if you press the brake pedal which you will not.

Follow the prompts that Forscan gives you, no need to pre-emp before you start using it.
