Hi guys
I need some ideas, I like occasionally going to the drive in movies, you normally listen to the movie through the head unit as a radio station however pressing the power button on the stereo it cuts out after 1hr and I can't extend that time.
If I turn the ignition on and run it that way the DRL's come on and Im unsure how to turn them on and off easily.
Any tips on what I can do to solve my issue, vehicle related, as I don't want anything like a portable stereo if I can get away with it.
Thanks

Enable DRL menu then turn them off when you don't want them to come on.

I'd like the DRL's to work as they should like standard, but when I untick the option they don't work at all.

The whole idea of having them unticked is it turns them off.
Ticked and with light switch in the auto position and they will work as normal.

Cheers, but what I mean is in the bcm, the drl control 1-3 do all 3 need to be enabled or only certain combinations enabled?

Hi mate, I've enabled the settings but not sure it's working correctly. with the drl settings ticked or unticked they still seem to come on with the lights.
How can I get it so the DRL's are on all the time if ticked (working as they should be), even with the lights in the off position.
But then the DRL's are off fully if unticked?

If the DRL menu is enabled in the IPC and BCM the only way for the DRL to work as they did before is if the light switch is in the auto position.
If the switch is not in the auto position the the DRLs will not light up.
Is there a reason you do not want to use the auto position?
