I'm looking at swapping the standard H11 lamps in the foglights out for some LED's and then use them as DRL's

I was looking at the Stedi ones and thought they would be better than the $30 eBay jobs however I noticed that it says the cabus is sold separately does that mean I will need something else or should they work just fine?

Was planning to do the low and high beams too at some point as the standard candles are just terrible.

It's illegal to run the Fog lights as DRL's
It's illegal to run Led globes in the headlights unless you have the internal level adjuster, then it's OK.

I used to run these in my PX1 as DRL’s in the position of the fog lights and never had an issue.

Wasn’t aware that LED lamps were illegal might look into some halogen alternatives because mine are junk at night.

I didn't have an issue with my fog lights as drlls either
A cop pointed out to me it was illegal and if i was involved in an accident and someone said my fog lights contributed to it my insurance could be void, insurance companies are looking for anything to avoid payouts
Secondly fog lights shouldn't be used in built up areas either.

Have run all variants of the stedi fogs. They are crap. Not worth the money at all. All have failed in some way. Multiple warranty replacements. Now no warranty and one has died again. Absolutely avoid them!

On the other hand stedi high beam and headlight are a great led globe. No issues with them and excellent upgrade.
