Hi all, new to these technological advanced vehicles so looking for some advice on wiring up some accessories. Looking at hooking up driving lights, light bar, rear view camera (for van operated by independent switch) uhf etc, have purchased a lightforce panel and 3 x switches to operate the lights and camera, can I splice into the 12v accessory socket to get power for the switches without upsetting the vehicles electrical system? as I said new to this type of vehicle set up and secondly where/how have you been tapping into highbeam to trigger the relay? Any help would be appreciated, Cheers

The only thing I can help you with is power for driving lights and light bar.
Connect positive wires to the positive battery terminal.
Connect negative wires to the earth body bolt, not directly to the battery negative.

For high beam pin out viewtopic.php?f=22&t=399 which you will find behind the headlight.
Accessory socket will be fine as you have stated you are only going to trigger the relay and the current fuse is more than capable, it also saves on another cable run. I currently use this point for my UHF or you could use a piggy back fuse in the BCM.
As above earth always to chassis earth and not the negative battery terminal, there are plenty of good earth points under the dash area.
