So have discovered following two PIDs from FORSCAN:

Battery Charge Voltage (V_BATT_BCM)
Header: 726
Mode: 22
Pid: 402A
Eqn: A/10.0 (Maybe?)

Charging System Voltage (C_VOLT)
Header: 726
Mode: 22
Pid: 411D
Eqn: A/10.0 (Maybe?)

However I am seeing values of up to 0xA5 (165 -> 16.5V) on the V_BATT_BCM whilst car is on, which I suspect is wrong, electrically. So am wondering if anyone else has a different equation that might yield correct results.

Similarly the Charging System Voltage reads 0x6A (106 -> 10.6V) when car is off (Seems about right given might be drop from battery to it?) but when running it reads 14.5V, which actually does seem kind of right.

Interested to see what info people might have? I've already tried the usual google searches with the PIDs included and haven't found much.

First one will only apply if the PX1 has a current clamp I would say but it would be preferable over 411D as requested voltage does not mean that will be the given output. Math for 411D was correct btw.

Test all of these and although it is the correct data for that specific BCM and is 100% correct it does not mean all PIDs are active.

If they all work on your vehicle then I will add them to the online list.

If you have an issue with any then also try them on header 7DF or 7E0.

401B Alternator current
Header: 726
Math = A
Units = Amp
Resolution of 1 Amp
Min units = 0
Max units = 255

4028 Vehicle Battery State Of Charge - Estimated
Header: 726
Math = A
Units = %
Resolution of 1%
Min units = 0
Max units = 255

4029 Vehicle Battery Temperature - Estimated
Header: 726
Math = A-40
Units = Deg C
Resolution of 1 Deg C
Min units = -40
Max units = 215

402A Vehicle Battery Voltage
Math = (A/20)+6
Units = Volts
Resolution of 0.05 Volts
Min units = 6
Max units = 18.75

402B Vehicle Battery Current
Header: 726
Math = A-127
Units = Amp
Resolution of 1 Amp
Min units = -127
Max units = 128

402C Alternator Load
Header: 726
Math = A
Units = %
Resolution of 1%
Min units = 0
Max units = 255

Legend. Yeh the (A/20) + 6 makes a lot more sense.

401B - Alternator Current: I will have to go check this one
4028 - Battery SoC Estimate: Yep already have this working, header 726
4029 - Battery Temp Estimate: Works on 726 header
402A - Battery Voltage: Works with corrected equation on 726 header
402B - Battery Current: I will attempt to read this (See below for what I am using)
402C - Alternator Load: I will have to check this one too

Battery Current
I am currently using:
Header: 726
Mode: 22
PID: 4090
EQN: ((A*256)+B)/16 - 512 (I have seen online people use -511.7, but that didn't seem right to me)
Res: 0.0625A?

I am getting valid values from this (I see -300A or thereabouts during cranking, I'm not scanning too fast so I likely miss the peak. When SoC is at 80% this hovers close to 0A. If I turn on lightbars then the current will drop with the additional load and fairly accurately).

4040 is another option.

4090
Battery Current
((A*256)+B)/16 - 512

Resolution of 0.0625 Amp
Min value -512 Amp
Max value 3583.9375 Amp

Basically it is the high resolution version which use 2 bytes of data instead of 1 byte like 402B which is low resolution.

Honestly low res is more than enough.

0 Amp draw because battery SOC is ok is why.

No luck for 4040, 401B and 402C on 7E0, 7DF and 726. Guess I'll have to find something else to display :)

Just means there is probably no current clamp on Aus delivered PX1.
