Is there a way to disable the pre-collision?
My Ranger is waaaaayyy to sensitive, especially if it’s raining. Goes off if pass near a car, even parked ones! And goes off occasionally when braking with nothing anywhere near me. No fault codes or anything either. Is this common? Do people just put up with it?
Cheers

Have you turned the sensitivity down? There's a menu under the driver assist settings.

Take it back to whoever did it and tell them to fix it.

If all else fails take it to a Ford dealer and see what they say.

Stewart may have an answer for you, give him time.

Think you will find Ford will need to redo PATS and that will also require an additional key to be added.

My Pre-Collision is not quite as sensitive as described by the OP, But its still painful, it seems to have become more sensitive since they did the last service and update.
I have it set on the minimum sensitivity rate and before the service it was tolerable but now, it seems to be going off more regularly.

Have to get the it checked out in a few weeks with the intermediate service, hopefully it will also fix the 3 sec delay on answering a phone call to when they can hear me.
