Hi All,
I found within IPC of forscan you can choose to enable speed sign recognition, i tried enabling it and can see the option within the cluster but the tickbox is greyed out and wont let me select it.

Is there anything else within Forscan i need to enable for this to work (i assume something to do with forward collision camera setup, but i cant find anything)

Any help is much appreciated

The following link has a pretty good description. Works on my US Ranger. Had to change a couple of things in the IPMA module as well as the IPC change you made.

Traffic Sign Recognition = Speed Limit Information Function (SLIF)
Traffic Sign Recognition Mode = Camera Only On

Thanks mate, however my forscan only shows as built info, any chance you would know the codes to enable it?

Careful you don't brick it, the US & Aust models may differ.
Is your copy of Forscan licensed?
What dongle are you using?

Hi Ross,
I have the 2-month extended license and the dongle is an SB4UC6G5 (the one that Stewart sells on this website), I presumed this would be the best one.
I should mention as well i have an Everest and not a ranger but it still has the front-facing camera system

MY19 has no relation to a MY15, there is nothing in Forscan you will do to make it work.

Yes I spent 2 years making it work. Keep playing or if not custom programming to enable TSR is available through me and me or me at Seaford Vic.

Yea Rick if you don't have the Module configuration options it would be a little risky to try the codes from the MY19 US Ranger on your MY15 Everest. The US Ranger MY19 and MY 20 modules seem to have some pretty significant differences from the other markets and in some cases even different than any other Ford modules. That said, if you want to keep playing with it, the IPMA changes affected 706-02-01 xxxx xxxx Xxxx. the X changed from a 5 to a 7. It also changed almost every bit on 706-02-02 but I did not save that info. I will probably save that change tomorrow while I am playing with some other stuff, so just let me know if you want those changes.

As per what I wrote above. PX2 and PX3 share nothing in common, not even hardware in common. No relation zilch zip none, zero. PX3 which is the same hardware, US vs AUS asbuilt is interchangable but PX3 in Australia has TSR standard so it not a problem. Any PX3 or US spec Ranger TSR options are non applicable in the first users post.

At some point I will give access to module specific information for pretty much every module, this will include every change to every module that exists in every model. For now it is work in progress.
