Hi guys! I just got my first Ranger T6 (2019), it's the Limited version here in LATAM (Brazil).

I have just installed a gps tracker, one I program and control (Actually I work with this kind of devices) and I'm looking for a signal that indicates me that the alarm is on at the moment. I'm gonna get that signal and send online to a platform that's gonna send me a Whatsapp/sms when the alarm goes on. That's the easy part, the hard part is actually finding this signal haha.

I got this wiring diagram from the factory alarm system:

I was thinking on trying the alarm Honk, but I have no clue where this "Anti-Theft Alarm Horn with Integral Battery" is physically on the truck or maybe I could find the module that activates this Honk, called: Central Junction Box (CJB) (part number: 2BP02)

Maybe someone has a clue where to start looking for this modules inside the truck?

I can't really help you, but could you trigger an alarm and trace where the sound is coming from? It might pin point an area to look at?

Everything is on the CANBUS. You would need to find the CANBUS message that says current state of the alarm and convert from there. There is no manual switch or trigger that can be tapped into.

External siren is behind front left guard.

Keep in mind playing with the CANBUS with the alarm on will most likely trigger the alarm.

Thanks Stewart. Gonna try to find it on the weekend and let you know if I accomplished what I want.

The device I'm using doesn't have Can so I'm not gonna play with that at the moment.

Thanks!

Just a quick update... It seems my Ranger doesnt have an especific horn for alarm, it use the same horn...

So I will need to do some more research or go ahead with a CAN solution.

Gonna put this project on standby and as soon I get it I post the result here
