Hey all, looking for information on tub issues as my canopy has just torn the sides of my raptor tub and apparently it’s not uncommon, although Ford seem to have the strangest fitment requirements of any manufacturer ….

You may find it's not only Ford as it is the same for Toyota - at least in South Africa.
Cannot bolt canopy directly to top sides of tub.
Brackets are used and mounted to existing threaded holes in reinforced areas on the inside of the tub.
In my Ford this is where the tie down brackets bolt up.

This takes the load and stress/flex off the thin tub side walls.
