Hi,

I have searched the forums to no avail unfortunately.
Vehicle is a dual cab PX2 2017.
I have removed the rear seats and was hoping to delete the fault related to the seat belts being unplugged.
Is this something that can be done with FORScan?

Cheers in advance!
Paul.

From memory I have tried to disable in the restraints module before but it caused more issues. So in the end the buckles were left in place or relocated but still plugged in.

Thanks for the reply Stewart.
I found some info in a 2015 150 file but did not want to go through with the changes that honestly did not make sense in the seat arrangement department.
Cheers.

One option we can probably do, assuming it is just gauge on the cluster that may have ? Marks on the seat?? Is to change it to a 2 seater.

I have done the rear seat delete too and am trying to do what you want to acheive as well - stop the fault showing.
It only takes a push on the steering wheel OK button to clear it, but it would be nice if we can stop it.
Havent found a PID for it yet, still looking.

cheers

Only way to get rid of it is to remove the seatbelt reminder from the cluster entirely.

Hi Stewart could you advise where to remove the seatbelt reminder from the cluster?

Have a PX2 and just removed the rear seat also, the front belt reminders are already disabled

Thanks

PM me saved IPC asbuilt or post it and will sort, with people making changes to their existing settings then different values will be applicable to different people.

Thanks Again to saeb whom provided an updated file to load for when I remove the rear seat and deteached the seatbelts

It removed the malfunction and error from the dash cluster which required you to press OK twice. So now when you start vehicle no errors.

There are still DTC on the scan but that's ok I can manage with that for sure, when I put the rear seat back in I can just reload the original file.

Great work and helpful forum
