I have a manual Px2 and the last 3 trips up the bush this month the vehicle is NOT disengaging 4x4 when turning selector, it tries as the light on the dash is flashing. This isnt a case of driveline pressure either you can go back / forward clutch in / out etc etc. To disengage I turn the car off and it pops back into 2H immediate.
I suspect the selector has a spring and when powered off it can shift.
Question is does anyone know the voltage and wiring at the plug on the transfer case so I can test the wiring first before pulling the shift control apart.
Also there are no errors in Forscan relating to failing to shift or other codes
Any fault finding help will be appreciated as its close to out of warranty i think

Or dodgy servo motor on the transfer case it is not unheard of. If in warranty save the headache and have it replaced.

Ok thanks its booked in to be checked as its still under warranty, my issue is that it will work for the first time say in the driveway. But after a few hours of being engaged in 4wd it fails, I doubt the dealer will do much other than say it works when they tested. And I will have to wait until complete failure which means I am stuck in 4wd and will have to pull the front shaft to drive home, or I am stuck somewhere as I cant get it into 4wd
