aftermarket reverse camera on sync3

Hi all

Has anybody fitted an aftermarket camera and been able to display it on sync3? i don't want the zoom function or lines that move with the steering wheel.

Any analogue camera will work. 2 wires, basically anything aftermarket that will have power and RCA plugs on it will be fine.

Hi there I have the xlt cab chassis fitted with the Ford rear camera the problem is theirs no guide lines!?
Been told can’t have them! Is this true??

Mine has guide lines and they move with the steering wheel.

Will depend if the camera has a LIN bus connection. If not then no or if yes then they have not made additional changes to support it.

Maybe the oem Ford acc camera can’t! Thou all I read is that it should arrh

Saying that it does have all wires from cam to plugs etc!

Run the LIN configuration procedure in the service area in Forscan. If it is LIN compatible then once run the lines will show up.

I was never able to use my rear camera, I asked the dealer a week ago to enable the camera, but they told me a module is needed so the system doesn't let them enable any camera in the radio

Just enable the camera with Forscan in APIM non as-built.

thing is it wasn't just that option, I checked all the option again and enabled rear camera split view, now it's finally working
