i have plugged in forscan and had a look around and have noticed in the DTC section it says

Code: b109f- intrusion sensor module
Additional fault symptom:
-component or system operation obstructed or blocked

Status:
Previously set dtc - not present at the time of request
-malfunction indicator lamp is off for this dtc

Module: body control module

Any ideas why is would say this?

Mine did the same for about a month, then one day cleared and never come back. I cannot explain why, how, who or where but it's fixed.

I may be mistaken but I thought the sensors are located in the overhead light, the little round things on the corners, it could be if you leave your windows open and bugs get in the car they sometimes get trapped in the sensor, after a while they may die and fall out clearing the issue? Just a thought?

To clarify, the alarms is failing trying to set itself as the sensor is not clearing at activation due to the bug obscuring.
