The right hand drivers mirror came off with no problems, however the left hand glass resulted in a broken motor mounting point which required a new mirror housing. Purchased an aftermarket housing but after fitting and replacing the glass it vibrates at speed.
The aftermarket housings have a completely different motor setup to original and dont appear to be as firm and stable as the original.
If i was to do it again i would purchase the glass without the backing plate and silicon it straight to the existing glass.
