DPF Regen Gauge - PX3 only

The DPF soot (pid from this forum) seems to agree with this display on my biturbo. The exhaust filter gauge on the display rounds down to increments of 5% whereas the DPS soot in ODBlink goes up 1% at a time, but otherwise they have the same number.

Hi guys and gals. I tried this on my XLT PX3 Ranger, but it didn't work.

IPC asbuilt
720-07-02
factory setting was: 0260 40D2
I changed this to: 0960 40D2

I didn't get the DPF gauge and I also lost the intelligent 4wd display.

I just re-read the initial post again. Since my initial value was 2 and I add 8, I should change it to A. Correct?

Your asbuilt is non standard as an a Ranger never came with I4WD gauge.

As per the instructions - "Take the initial value eg. 3 and in windows calc or other changed to programmer mode, select hex and add 8 to your start value, the new character is what you will use."

Hex 2 plus 8 = A and not 9

If you want to confirm the change is correct.

Take the initial value eg. 3 and in windows calc or other changed to programmer mode, select hex and add 8 to your start value, the new character is what you will use.

Gauge can be found in Driver Assist/DPF Status

I tried this one on my 2019 Everest ambiente and the DPF % appeared in right cluster but it throws up this error when ignition is turned on - "front camera not present. service required"

any ideas Stewart?

You have made an incorrect change on your calculation. Send me your saved IPC abt and will fix.

Hi all

Did this on my 3.2 XLT today and had to use the XLS change not that XLT as listed as my initial value was 0000-4078 so I changed it to 0800-4078 as per the guidance to add 8 hex.

XL,XLS 720-07-02 x8xx-xxxx
XLT 720-07-02 x9xx-xxxx
Everest 720-07-02 xBxx-xxxx

Just an FYI. Maybe because mine is a very early PX3 XLT? Not sure. Anyway thanks for the additional note to check the +8. Works a treat.

Update:

Just noticed since doing this the clock on my left screen shows “--:--“.

Clock on the Sync 3 centre screen in functioning as normal.

Any ideas/link? Should that 8 actually be a 9?

Your vehicle most likely has different options enabled. That change will affect about 6 other options.

For some reason this file won't load, throws up an error. I have restored previously from backup ABTs but this one won't play nice.

Working my 19 ranger xlt , but my front camera enabled too and off road guage gone ,shows front camera eror after i disabled it no problem thanks

rename the extension to lower case .abt it should resolve.

all good, just had to disable front camera ( i dont have one) to get rid of the error.
