Hello guys,

Went through a guy to order a unichip for my T7(predpf) model. However the guy tried to install it himself and made a mess under the bonnet with cables here and there. Is there anyone here who knows how can i access the ecu and where to place the unichip modules? There are 2 modules, the q4 and the idriver module and 2 huge « blocks » which piggybacks on the ecu original cables.
A picture will suffice as i’ll try to do it myself.

Thanks guys.

ECU pretty much has to come out. It is under the engine bay fuse box and sucks to get to it. Honestly fitting a Unichip is not a fun job. The bracket was mounted near the ABS module but that is the best info I can give as my photos are long gone.

One big thing to note. Do not use it unless the vehicle it came off used the same PCM calibration as yours does. The Unichip you bought was based on the previous vehicles calibration, if yours is anything but then the tune will most likely be way off and will need to be re tuned ona dyno.

This is the main reason I got rid of it and got a flash tune in the end.
