Would anyone be able to help with changing the fuel tank size using a Forscan?
I’ve tried find out how/where to change it within Forscan, without any success. But in saying that, I’ve got no experience with it, but it doesn’t appear to be too hard to use...
Cheers

If you have your laptop, Forscan & dongle all working then you could get some one to guide you through it over the phone.
Most important that Forscan has a license, either free or paid license.
Without a license you can't see all the modules.

From what I read, you already have Forscan. Follow this guide viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1341 but you will be looking from Fuel tank size which will currently be showing 80 instead of DRL. Change to your desired size.

Just watching this video, I only have a fraction of options in the configuration and programming. And I don't have the IPC module configuration, where I can see you change the fuel tank size. Is there a way around this?

Replace you dongle with something else, it appears it is not working correctly and is incompatible with all modules.

I’ve been ripping my hair out for over a month trying to find out how to do this. I didn’t think it could be that complicated...

Hello,
Ive just sold my PX2 wildtrak and removed the large 140ltr tank and put it into a new PX3 wildtrak and having difficulty with changing the sync 3 settings to accept larger fuel tank is. Changing 720-03-01 from XXX3 20XX XXXX in the older sync 2 wasn't an issue to the new value XXX5 78XX XXXX. But the sync 3 isn't accepting the change, keeps coming up with service was interrupted??? Does anyone know why this is happening and how to get around it.

Changing tank size should be done easily, no manual work needed.
From memory you go into the IPC non asbuilt module and change the fuel tank size from 80 to 140
Write the change and your done.
If I have the wrong module someone will correct me.

Has nothing to do with Sync version. You could pull it out and run over it and it still would not matter.eddybellamy999 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 4:02 pm Hello,

You are making changes in the instrument cluster. First thing to check is you have nothing else plugged into other OBD ports as this is usually what happens when there is.
Make sure you are also using the latest version of Forscan and make sure there is enough voltage. With IPC, start and run the vehicle if you have too, if it is low voltage.
