I haven't got to this project yet, too many on the go now, but am going to add some micro led light bars on the rear and hook them up to the puddle lamp switch in the cab.

https://www.stedi.com.au/micro-st3520-7 ... d-bar.html
Possibly. I have Puddle lamp ramp up, ramp down which may do the job. Will have to plug a test light into my loom and see what the outcome is. Will let you know.

It enables an additional menu on the left side small screen which allows you to alter temperature and fan speed from the steering wheel control. The changes you need is in the spreadsheet on page one.

That's great, thank you.

Few more questions:

1) I have activated the DRL menu. I have changed 720-02-01 to xx6x xxxx xxxx. The description states "Enable DRL Menu, Enable Lane Assist and Disable Chimes". Which chimes are disabled? And what is the correct value if I want to keep these chimes active?

2) What are "Enable EQ mode in sound settings" and "Temperature Display"?

3) Can I disable the feature that turns on recirculated air every time the a/c is turned on?

4) is there a list of all the "non asbuilt" options for a 2016 everest trend? Some of the names do not make sense of what the setting might do.

Cheers

The Chimes are the ones that everyone goes to Ford to remove. Can give you the change if you really want them back.

Gives additional equaliser settings in Sync2 screen. Pop rock etc. Under sounds settings.

Air no. It does it because it's more efficient and makes sense.

Every option I post is an asbuilt change. All I can do in time is change how I list items showing a picture of the change so it's understood. I'm not going to write a story about each change at the moment so if you have a question just post it up.

There are 500+ changes that can be made with all the different modules and once I'm caught up on some of my projects I will list changes that may be of benifet.

If you look to the right of the sheet you will see not every change applies to an auto or a trend, XLT etc.

My original findings are based on a Ranger XLT. There are times when an Everest, XL or a manual may require a different change to what I have listed.

Ideally at some point in time you would load your asbuilt online then it will spit out the modified asbuilt based on your selection.

I want to finish a few more hardware mods before I start looking into this.

Rgds

It would be great if you could give me the change, the chimes do not bother me and I like to be reminded if I've forgotten something..... :-)
Which chimes are turned off by the change of 720-02-01 to xx6x xxxx xxxx , by the way?

No use for me then, i have sync3

shame, it bothers me when I am in the bush and start/stop the engine frequently, I guess I will have to live with it!

I was actually referring to the "direct selection" options (ie non-asbuilt, like single/dual battery), a couple of dozen in my car's case. The effect of some is pretty clear, but the name of some others does not actually tell exactly what the option does. I will post the whole list tonight or tomorrow.

Will do soon. Is there a way to save all the modules all in one go, or do I have to save them one by one?

Cheers!

It enables a menu in the setting where you can select normal driving or towing for remaining range calculations. Pretty useless in my case ;-)

The chimes that it effects are keys in ignition. Yours would most likely not have them already and believe me and the rest of Australia, you do not want them. What you have existing will stay. There are about 4 different changes to do with different chimes.

All what direct selection is doing is changing asbuilt. Once I have a firm selection and give them the proper bit changes then they will be added to Forscan as an easy selection direct edit. (Time)...

You have to save each module one at a time. Never rely that your asbuilt on Fords servers are complete as usually they are not, so it's always best to backup anyway.

OK thanks, I thought it would disable one of the chimes already present, not add a new one. Is that a chime that sounds when the keys are left in the ignition with engine off? I definitely don't want that.

I always backup the modules before and after doing any change. I'll get to save also all these that I haven't touched one of these days.

This Enable DTE didn't work for me. "Incompatible Configuration" (2016 Everest Titanium)
It's a shame as I believe it would have been useful when we tow the camper, which is often....

Anybody who know the config for Bambi Mode (fogs & high beams at same time) on Everest?
I have tested with same F150 config but didn't work.

No trick, it's the first post on page one of this thread... viewtopic.php?f=12&t=7

It scrolls left/right and up/down. Just tried on my android phone and all's working. Yell out if you're still having problems.

Cheers

That is correct. Tapatalk will not process the sheet and was not designed to do so.

I didn't think you were not allowed to have Fogs and High beams on at the same time in Aus, you guys have the same law as the US then in regards to that?

You are not legally meant to run fogs with low or high. NSW had a major crack down about 5 years ago.

I think their is a clause about low visibility that may allow is under this circumstances but I would have to find it again.

I just press the button on the dash and they come in for low beam at least. I have not checked high beam.

I will make a note and check, then check my list and test for changes. Bit busy this weekend and it was stupidly cold.

Stewart,

If you want you can compare your findings against my asbuilt from the VIN I sent you as I can run fogs with low and high beams.

Thanks for the good wishes,

I think this function would be useful in some situations, such as heavy fog or off-road use.

However, I will take into account traffic rules as important.
